Highly recommend the services of Empress car rental in Simpson Bay, and especially the friendly, personal touch that Wendy offered us as soon as he saw us walk through the Airport.

He beckoned us over with his warm personality and friendly smile, and after reviewing our options and preferences, had taken great care of us in minutes.

As promised, the car he provided us with was great on fuel consumption and had no issue climbing up and down the hills all over the island. The unlimited mileage gave us the freedom to sightsee the island from one end to the other.

Great, friendly service and reliability - as promised by Wendy Tonge.

We booked through expedia and rented a car through NextCar which is also Empress Rent a Car. A nice gentleman greeted us outside the airport as soon as we walked out and saw the sign for NextCar. The shuttle was there quickly and took us straight to the office to fill out paperwork and pick up the car. The only thing I did not expect was the $1000USD deposit on the credit card. The man who took us to our car encouraged us to take pictures of the car and I’m glad I did because our car had a dent and scratch on the back passenger panel. The car did not have a full tank of gas which was fine but I will only take it back with what I left with. I took a picture of that too before I left the lot. The car runs great and easily gets up the windy bumpy roads around the island.

We had a great experience with Empress Rent a Car. We were picked up at the airport taken to the site where they had the paperwork ready to be signed and a car ready for us to go. When we were ready to go back to the airport, we drove straight back to the site. They had us stay in the car and they use the car to drop us quickly off to the airport. Wendy was extremely helpful and super friendly. We would absolutely recommend Empress rent a car to anyone going to St. Martin. The car value was unmatched by any other Rental car company on the island.

Empress Rent a Car made my vacation better with their service. The Honda I rented was clean and very well maintained. The service was quick from the initial conversations to getting my keys. The price was very reasonable and the professionalism of the staff their made me feel like a local. I would absolutely recommend Empress to any traveller!

Empress and Rent-A-Wreck (and a few other rental agencies are all located here). When I arrived, I was told that there were no cars available -- even though I reserved months in advance. Empress Rent a Car conveniently stepped in to rent at a higher rate than I was quoted at Rent-A-Wreck.

Three other people in my group of travellers experienced the same thing, leading me to believe this is a bait-and-switch establishment where four or five rental agencies are located and the employees and vehicles are shared by both.

The cars are GARBAGE. Cracked windscreen, less than full fuel tank and I needed a JUMP START from a stranger when the car died on me during my holiday -- the car was barely safe and had over 74,000km on it and it looked as if it had never been maintained.

I will NEVER use this company again and I will warn my friends about their practices.

Muy buena atención de Alberto y Dany lo recomiendo hay que tener en cuenta los horarios de cierre no está abierto 24 horas, el auto que nos proporcionaron estaba en muy buenas condiciones sin ningún inconveniente, en Saint Martín tentar un carro es la mejor opción si te quedas por más de tres días
