Wow, wir waren ein paar Tage mit unseren Mietwagen in und um Palm Springs unterwegs. Dementsprechend sah das Fahrzeug nach ein paar Tagen aus. Total zugestaubt und voller Sand. An dieser Tankstelle habe ich das erste mal live den amerikanischen Car Wash erlebt und bin total begeistert. Toller Service und ein eingespieltes Team, hat das Fahrzeug Fabrikfrisch aussehen lassen. Fast alles wurde mit Hand gewaschen und danach auch noch poliert, bis auch der letzte Wassertropfen weggewischt wurde. Große Klasse. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Danke dafür.

My brake lights were staying on all the time, even when the ignition was turned off. I did some research online and discovered that the likely reason was a broken plastic thing on the brake switch. In fact, there were little plastic pieces on the floor of the car, evidence that the plastic thing had disintegrated and fallen out. I got the part at O'Reilly for $9.99 but there were no instructions and the videos online were very confusing. So I stopped by Downtown Shell to see if they could help me with the installation. At the service desk, when I explained the situation, the man said they could do nothing "until they diagnose the problem." He insisted that just replacing the plastic thing could not possibly fix the problem of brake lights staying on, and instead I would have to get a new brake switch for about $100. This was contrary to the advice of two other mechanics and countless YouTube how-to videos. I told him this and again he lied to my face and told me the plastic thing replacement would never work. I find being lied to for the purpose of ripping me off detestable. I walked away, intending never to return. Back home, with the help of a friend, we got the plastic thing installed and it worked like a charm! Brake lights now only come on when I step on the brakes. Shame on this shady outfit lying to people and taking advantage of their lack of automotive knowledge. Luckily I was armed with a little knowledge about the issue and I avoided being ripped off by yet another disreputable and dishonest Palm Springs mechanic. Shame on you, Downtown Shell. You have lost a customer for life and you can bet I will recommend to anyone who will listen never to patronize your despicable business, not even to fill the tank with gas.

Delightful, clean reception... the gentleman that checked me in was friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable getting my car washed there and the little store where you pay very pleasant, and I was able to get cash for a tip there. My car looked fabulous. Many times you'll get into your car after waiting for an hour and you'll find they never wiped out the console or where you might put your change or a cup of water this time at this place which I've never been to before this car wash was amazing everything was wiped down and spotless and it was very quick. I will come here in the future.

I’ve driven by this place thousands of times over the past 20 years and never really paid attention to it. Today I needed to have my car smog and so I decided to stop here. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. In addition to getting smogged, I wound up filling up my tank with gas and getting a very reasonably priced full service car wash that was like no other. I definitely will make this place my regular gas station, car wash, and smog services pro in the future.

I’m a satisfied customer for many years & once again, yesterday did not disappoint. I needed a quick last minute smog check on my vehicle. Without hesitation they worked me in. Good place to fill up rental car prior to returning it to rental property. Gas prices seemed slightly higher than stations further from the airport but that was expected-not exorbitant. The station was busy and getting back on the street was a bit tricky due to traffic. Looked like there were mechanical services at the station too.
