Terrible service, the operator lady when pressing 0 had a rude tone and also wasn't understanding of the situation. I was needing to verify independency, I've been unaccompanied by my parents or guardians for the last 2 years, at risk of homelessness if it wasn't for EBT and scholarships, providing for my own, and she still denies my independency. However, under FAFSA it lists I qualify. At the time of this review was when I made my call, and it took over an hour wait to get a rude operator.

It would help if you guys had better people to work at the financial aid office, especially during summer. I had been calling for the past 50 minutes, and when someone finally answered, they hung up. It's your guy's job to help students. It's so upsetting having to call so that someone can hang up on you—a waste of time for us.

A lovely lady helped me after I pushed '0' instead of any of the given options on the phone menu. I explained my situation and asked for advice and she gave me advice. Friendly and courteous.

This financial aid office is disorganized and frustrating to work with. This office causes many issues to students because of the lack of transparency. I don't appreciate as a student who paid partial of the tuition because the office is slow and incompetent. It's near impossible schedule a meeting in person with the financial officers. I am still waiting on my financial aid, and I will be reporting the office to the Federal Student Aid Information Center (FSAIC).

Terrible service andhard to contact even in not busy times of year. They have also marked my issues as resolved multiple times despite my situation not being resolved, and after being given incorrect information from staff, I was left to open multiple tickets, starting from scratch each time.

Edit: If I could give a lower review I would. Needed to submit information in the mail and sent everything they requested. They responded saying I did not have everything and that I would need to send it all again WITHOUT TELLING ME WHAT WAS MISSING! How can these people be so unable to provide basic information. Either extremely understaffed or just incompetent.

For the amount of tuition I pay for, I would expect better customer service. I normally don't write reviews but every time I call this office, they are never helpful and are extremely unprofessional. Even in person they are very rude. They need to start hiring better staff here. Honestly, I would have given them zero stars if I had the option.
